My journey to yoga was anything but straightforward. After years of battling addiction, I found myself in the darkness of self harm, working to overcome a severe meth habit. When I got sober and began searching for something greater, yoga became the path that helped me discover what I had been seeking. I enrolled in a yoga teacher training as a reward for my hard work and to deepen my practice. At the time, I never imagined that teaching yoga would become my career.

Ten years later, I’ve realized that many people connect with my story and my perspective on yoga. With over a decade of experience teaching, I now see that the twists and turns that led me here were exactly what I needed. The challenges I’ve faced have equipped me with the tools to live a life of purpose. For me, teaching is about leading by example. I don’t claim to have everything figured out, but I’m constantly evolving, and I bring that growth into every class I teach. My approach is a reflection of my journey, my values, and the ideals I continue to pursue. Yoga has made many of my dreams a reality, and I’m incredibly grateful for the amazing community of family, friends, and students who share this experience with me. I owe a great deal of respect and thanks to my teachers—Sheryl, Vinnie, Jolie, and many more—who have helped shape my path.

Feel free to connect with me on social media or catch me swimming at the beach, playing with my dog at the park, or practicing yoga in South Florida.
